With an 18-year nursing career, Shalonda progressed through roles as Charge Nurse, Quality Director, and Assistant Chief Clinical Officer/ Risk Manager at AMG Specialty Hospital. Her leadership was instrumental in driving the quality and compliance initiatives that propelled her facility to a top-3 ranking within a 13-hospital system, proving that inside knowledge is the key to achieving excellence in safety.

Shalonda earned her Master of Business Administration and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Southern University system in Baton Rouge.
